What you can expect

ATTENTION: The tour is minimum for FOUR people

Explore the regional crafts of Sinaloa with a trip to the colorful villages of Concordia and Mesillas, where you can relax in a picturesque, rural setting and see local artisans at work producing traditional handmade goods.

After being picked up at your hotel, ride upward through the foothills of the Sierra Madres to Concordia, passing by roadside stands peddling fresh mangos along the way. This quiet, colonial city was founded in 1565, and local women still do laundry in the nearby hot springs. Admire its beautiful baroque church, stroll across its peaceful central plaza, and soak up the serene, rural atmosphere as you pop into shops and galleries selling handmade pottery and jewelry in pre-Columbian motifs.

From there, visit the small, outlying village of Mesillas; this tiny township is home to some of the region's outstanding artisans and craftspeople. Admire the makers at work as they create fine handmade furniture before your return trip to Mazatlán.
