Description

Get acquainted with Seattle's historic waterfront from the water side of the wharf on this fully narrated cruise of Elliott Bay and Seattle Harbor. This cruise takes you around the shoreline and provides up-close views of area attractions as well as places where folks just want to have fun.

From a worker's point of view, there are some very interesting features around the bay: the Port of Seattle (one of the busiest ports in the United States), Colman Dock (the main dock of the largest ferry system in the US), and Pier 90 (home of the region's cruise ship business).

From a “let's just have some fun” point of view, there is plenty more to see. Alki Beach is a major local summertime hangout. Pier 67 is home to the famous Edgewater Inn. Piers 57 and 59 have the Great Wheel and the Seattle Aquarium. Numerous fishing piers also surround the bay; and just off of Alki Beach there is a great scuba-diving site.

Last but not least, there are tremendous views of the natural beauty that surrounds Seattle. The majestic Olympic Mountains lie to the west, solitary Mount Rainier to the southeast, and the inviting Cascade Range to the east.

Bring your camera to capture the memories because blue water, green trees, and interesting sights abound on this popular cruise.

An awesome cruise to see Seattle skyline and to learn some historical facts about the city. Definitely get there early so you get a good seat on the top of the boat. Can be chilly at night. A good tour that I recommend everyone to do if visiting the city.
