What you can expect

Discover the history and culture of Acapulco, one of the classic Mexican resort towns. Learn about the Spanish history, pirate attacks, and the handmade local goods produced in a town that has served as tropical vacation destination for a broad range of people over many decades.

Visit the San Diego fort, home of the History Museum of Acapulco. You will have time to stroll on the grounds and enjoy a refreshment. Then it is on to Las Brisas overlooking Acapulco Bay for a visit to the Chapel of Peace. Later we will go to the oldest part of Acapulco, we will enter the Flamingos hotel “La casa de Tarzan” where the great celebrities met in the 50s. Finally, you will have time to buy some souvenirs before returning to your hotel or ship.
