Arrival in Urgench in the morning. Transfer to Khiva. Breakfast. Meeting with your guide and discovery of Khiva, the thousand-year-old oasis and last capital of Khorezm. Meet your guide and walk through the old town from the district of Tchor Minor to that of Liab-i Haouz. Walk under the 16th century merchant domes: the Toki-zargaron - jewelers, the Toki-tilpakfuruchon, hatters, the Toki-sarrafon, reserved for money changers. Discovery of the magnificent Poi-kalian architectural ensemble (12th - 16th centuries). During the visits, participation in the preparation of pilaf, a traditional Uzbek dish in a Bukhariot house followed by a family lunch.

Rest of free time in town. In the evening, you will attend the folklore show and fashion shows and presentation of silk clothes from different regions of Uzbekistan in the Madrasa Nodir Divan Beghi.

Meeting with your guide to discover the superb Registan square surrounded by the majestic Ouloug Beg, Chir Dor and Tillia-Kari medersas (15th-17th century); Bibi Khanym mosque built by Tamerlane. Walk to the bazaar. Then, visit the Chakhi Zinda necropolis. We end the day with a visit to the small museum and the astronomical observatory of Ouloug Beg. During the visits, lunch in a restaurant to taste the Uzbek skewers.
