Know before you book

What you can expect

Discover the Basque Country on a 6-day tour with accommodation in Bilbao, San Sebastian and Vitoria. This programme includes arrival and departure private transfers, welcome dossier and arrival assistance at the hotel, bed and breakfast at 4 star hotels for 5 nights, guided services for three full day tours and all necessary tickets and entrances based on the following itinerary.

Monday - Day 1: Arrival in Bilbao. Private transfer to the hotel, assistance and lodging in Bilbao

Tuesday - Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel. Route from BIlbao to San Sebastian. Lodging in San Sebastian.

Departure from Bilbao to arrive at the Sanctuary of Loyola where we will visit the shrine of harmonious proportions. Continue the route to arrive in Getaria the birthplace of Juan Sebastian Elcano. Afterwards, we will pass by Zarautz and finally we will arrive in San Sebastian where we will start a sightseeing tour. The entrance to the San Telmo Museum of Basque Society Evolution is included; it will be possible to visit it freely.

Wednesday - Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. Day free at leisure. Lodging in San Sebastian

Thursday - Day 4: Breakfast at the hotel. Route from San Sebastian to Vitoria. Lodging in Vitoria

Departure from San Sebastian and arrive in Ordizia. Its great attractive is the weekly market every Wednesday. Following the route, we will arrive in Oñati, the most elegant village of Gipuzkoa province and the Sanctuary of Arantzazu. Finally we will arrive to the Rioja Alavesa area to arrive in Laguardia a typical medieval village where we will some free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Vitoria where we wil start a sightseeing tour.

Friday - Day 5: Breakfast at the hotel. Route from Vitoria to Bilbao. Lodging in Bilbao

Departure from Vitoria to visit Gesaltza (Salinas de Añana) where we will enjoy a guided visit. Continue the route to make a short walking tour in Orduña. Later, we will arrive in Balmaseda where we have some free time for lunch at restaurant with menu with drinks included. In the afternoon, we will cross the Transporter Bridge of Biscay to arrive in Getxo and finish the day at Bilbao. The entrance to the Guggenheim Museum is included; it will be possible to visit it freely.

Saturday - Day 6: Breakfast and check-out at the hotel. Private departure transfer from Bilbao hotel.
