Transfer from your hotel to Addis Abeba Bole International Airport for your internal flight south to Arbaminch. Southern region is noted for its enormous variety of peoples &culture. Up on arrival at Arbaminch meet your driver and transfer to your accommodation.Then in the afternoon short drive to visit the Dorze tribe who lives on the Guge Mountain. The Dorze are renowned for their cotton-weaving techniques and beehive shaped houses constructed entirely from organic materials. Here in their village you can see the unique beehive huts, observe their exceptional cotton weaving skills and learn about their life and traditions.

Drive 90 km to Konso and visit the Konso village which is a UNESCO world heritage site. You will also visit the Konso museum and continue driving 200km to Turmi town where the Hamar tribe lives nearby. On the way you will visit the Arbore tribe.

After breakfast ,drive 62km west to meet with the Karo tribe who are famous for elaborate face and body painting. You will have a traditional coffee ceremony with a family from Karo/Kara tribe in Korcho Village. Return to Turmi for lunch, you may visit the Hamar tribal market on Monday or Thursday, or head to Dimeka to visit the Hamar tribal market on Saturday. In the late afternoon, around 5:30 pm, you will visit the Hamar traditional village and have a coffee ceremony in a Hamar traditional house. You may see the Hamar Bull Jumping Ceremony on this day (if available).
Day 4: Turmi – Omo Rate – Jinka

Drive 75km south to meet with the Dassanech tribe who live near the Omo River. You will cross the Omo River with a traditional dugout wooden canoe and walk for about 10-minute to the village. After interacting well with the Dassanech tribe and visiting a family house in the village. Return to Turmi town for lunch and continue the 130 km drive to Jinka. You may visit a colorful market of the Hamar or Banna tribe in Turmi, Demeka, Aldubba , or Keyafer towns on a market day (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday) on the way to Jinka. Finally, you will visit the Aari tribe village and hed to your lodge.

Enter to the Mago National Park to visit Mursi tribes’ village. Mursi tribes are the most famous tradition includes the lip plate worn by the women. The origin of this tradition is not known but the Mursi themselves consider it as something that makes them distinguish from the surrounding tribes.
Afternoon transfer to the airport and fly back to Addis. Depending up on-time final shopping at the souvenir shop. The evening has welfare dinner at a traditional restaurant with folkloric dance then transfer to airport to fly back home.
