Spend 3 days exploring the natural beauty of Halong Bay with a guided tour of the scenic UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a cruise among the bay's grand limestone karsts, take a kayak or bamboo boat to visit its caves, learn about traditional villages, and pick up some secrets of local cooking.
Day 1: A transfer from Noi Bai International Airport brings you to your hotel in Hanoi. From here, you can explore Vietnam's capital at your leisure, discover the local cuisine, and rest up for the next day's journey.
Day 2: A ride from your hotel brings you to the marina on Tuan Chau island, on the western side of Ha Long Bay. Enjoy complimentary drinks at a private lounge before you check in to your cabin for your cruise on the bay. Have lunch on board, relax on the sundeck, and admire the unparalleled scenery as your cruise takes you through the floating fishing farm of Hoa Cuong.
When you arrive at Me Cung Grotto, join your guide for a tour of the bewitching cave. Climb up the rugged stone stairs to see a great lake surrounded by mountains. Return to the cruise for a visit to Bright Cave, after which you can go for a swim, visit the local tunnel caves by kayak or bamboo boat, or just relax with fantastic views of the sunset.
After you get a chance to learn how to make spring rolls and mix fish sauce, you can watch a film in the outdoor bar, try squid fishing, and dine on some cooked squid before you turn in for the night at the sleeping area.
Day 3: Start the day with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck before breakfast, and then disembark at an exclusive floating house in the Rang Dua area, one of the few remaining houses after the traditional floating village was relocated to the mainland. Learn about the food, culture, and local pearl farm before your cruise takes you back to Tuan Chau.
After one last onboard lunch, disembark at the Tuan Chau marina for the ride back to Hanoi.
