Recently we spent a few days at the beautiful Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos. The property is approximately 40 minutes from the Los Cabos Airport, and is made for guests of all ages to play, eat, and enjoy their vacation without worrying about a thing.
It’s All About the Activities (and the Beach)
Every day is a new day at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos, which means you can make the day what you choose. If you want to lay out by one of the property’s five pools, play golf, or relax on the beach, take your pick. Guests can pick up a daily schedule with a list of activities to choose from, starting early in the morning. The pool offers its own activities, such as water polo and aqua fitness. Other days might be mojito making or cooking classes.

One of the best things about the resort is the beach. Most of the beaches in Cabo are non-swimmable due to strong currents and undertow, but the beach at Grand Fiesta Americana is perfect for swimming. There are several large rocks, providing protection from the waves and creating tide pools for marine life. The resort provides snorkel equipment at the beach, but we were able to walk into the water and see fish swimming everywhere! It was like snorkeling without the gear!

Multiple Accommodation Options
The accommodations at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos are spacious and clean. There are several different options for couples and families—from deluxe rooms, to the club rooms, to the suites and villas. These rooms accommodate from two to twelve people, so if you’re traveling with a large group, you’ve found your place. All rooms have balconies and feature ocean, sunset, or garden views. Every room has a mini-bar, large bathroom with a tub and shower, in-suite safe, and 24-hour room service.
Suites on the property come equipped with full kitchens, dining/living rooms, and multiple bathrooms, and the three-bedroom suite even has a dipping pool on the balcony. Rooms located on the Club level have access to the VIP Concierge Lounge, a daily continental breakfast buffet, special in-room amenities, and their own private pool.

Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos is Perfect For All Ages
The resort is honestly perfect for everyone, young and old. The Fiesta Kids Club at the resort is best for kids ages four to twelve. Kids can enjoy the playground, organized games in the kids club, by the pool, and on the beach, and arts and crafts that are age appropriate. Know that kids need to be six to enjoy the pool activities and the kids club is included in the cost of your reservation.

Teens and tweens will enjoy the pool games, ping pong, snorkeling, and volleyball. Adults can relax in the SOMMA Wine Spa and enjoy a variety of treatments with wines from the Mediterranean. We would highly recommend the Merlot Mud Wrap, Swedish Massage, and Champagne and Vanilla Scrub.
Those looking for something different can try games of bingo, Spanish lessons, tequila tasting, or dancing lessons. There truly is something for all ages at this resort.
Dining Options for All Diets
There are eight restaurants/cafés on property and each one offers a unique dining experience. Every restaurant we encountered offered a menu for gluten free and vegetarian diets. El Mexicano had an extensive menu with multiple entrees for every dietary need. Cevichería is the perfect spot for ceviche and tacos on the beach. Don’t miss the seafood tacos and chips and guacamole. Yum! Rosato is the resort’s fine dining Italian restaurant and one of the best for food and service. The vegetarian gnocchi was delicious and the wait staff was impeccable. Coffee Corner is a great spot to grab your daily caffeine fix, but know that there is an up charge for premium Starbucks drinks. If you prefer in-room dining, there is also 24-hour room service offered at no extra charge.
