Embark on a captivating 4-day excursion to Ushuaia, the capital city of the Province of Tierra del Fuego and the southernmost city in the world. Discover the wonders of Tierra del Fuego National Park, and be awestruck by the breathtaking Patagonian lakes, lagoons, and rivers gracing the Beagle Channel.
Day 1 Enjoy hassle-free transportation from the airport or bus terminal to your hotel, where you spend the night and prepare for the next day's journey.
Day 2 Start your day with breakfast before settling into a comfortable coach for a scenic drive toward Beagle Channel, passing magnificent lakes and lagoons along National Route #3. Pass the slopes of Mount Susana and see the Southern Fuegian Railway, which was built by prisoners starting in the late 19th century. These sights lead the way into Tierra del Fuego National Park.
Continue through a picturesque valley and onto a road that takes you to Ensenada Bay. Visit Roca Lake and take a long walk along its coast.
Head toward the other end of the park, where Route #3 ends at Lapataia Bay. Along the way, catch sights of the Green and Black Lagoons, a dense and thriving peat bog.
Day 3 Our Sea Lions & Birds Island excursion consists of a half-day boat ride through the Beagle Channel. We will be able to get incredible panoramic views of the city and its surroundings, as well as get in touch with the native fauna, thanks to the expedition to the Isla de los Lobos, where these mammals are found, and to the Isla de los Pájaros, so called because it is inhabited by different species of birds. Sailing through Paso Chico, we return to Ushuaia, with a view of the beautiful setting that gives the city the Martial Mount and its glacier of the same name.
Day 4 Enjoy breakfast before taking a hassle-free ride back to the airport or bus terminal for your return trip.
