Travel by royal horse carriage and enjoy a relaxing and elegant tour of Bagan's most beautiful temples. See the Min O Chan Tha Pagoda, the epic Dhammayangyi Temple, the exquisite Salamuni Temple, and the sunset at Pyat Thadar Temple.
Begin at the Min O Chan Tha Pagoda and travel to Dhammayangyi Temple in a royal, horse-drawn carriage. Dhammayangyi Temple is the largest structure in Bagan, with a similar architectural design to Ananda Temple. It was built by King Narathu (1167-71), a murderous and unpopular king who met an untimely end.
Arrive at Sulamani Temple just beyond Dhammayangyi Pagoda, built in 1181 by Narapatisithu (1174-1211). Known as the “crowing jewel,” this temple boasts some of Bagan's finest ornamental work, including carved stucco on moldings, pediments, and pilasters, and glazed plaques around the base and terraces that have survived to the modern era. Witness the magnificent sunset from Pyat Thadar Temple before returning to your hotel.
