We start at the German Mining Museum, which offers an exciting overview of mining and its importance to the region. From there, we will make our way to the Zeche Hannover – an authentic testimony to Bochum's industrial heritage. We explore the Dahlhauser Heide, one of the best-preserved mining settlements, and head along a former route towards Dahlhausen and the Jahrhunderthalle, an impressive example of the conversion of industrial buildings, which is now a center for culture and events.
Our tour continues through the lively Bermudadreieck, which is a popular meeting point with numerous bars and restaurants. Before our tour ends, we will cross the picturesque Bochum City Park. After a quick glance at the police station from “Harry and Toto,” our fascinating tour through Bochum's past and present comes to an end.
There will be live story(ies) during the tour via the audio system.
