What you can expect

The tour includes both a walking excursion and a boat trip; it begins at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mark's Square, where the tour leader will give an introduction to the history of the square and of Venice in general. The tour will then continue on foot through the “calle” of Venice, with the tour leader continuing to explain the history and local traditions. At 3:00 PM, the one-hour boat taxi trip will then begin from the Rialto Bridge area, taking a wide tour of Venice through the Grand Canal and the small minor canals of Venice. At the end of the trip, again from the Rialto area, the excursion will continue on foot through Venice, and with the tour leader's explanations, the most significant places in the city will be visited. The tour will end in the afternoon, at 5:00 PM, at the same point where it began, or, upon request, if the customer is staying in the historic old town of Venice, the tour leader will take them back to the hotel where they are staying.
