Pick-up from certain meeting point in early afternoon. It takes about 2 hours to get there from the meeting point in the city. You need to walk along the Great Wall by yourself, enjoying the sunset on the Great Wall and get down before it's getting dark. But you don’t need to worry about being lost because there is only one way going along the Great Wall, and the tower name is printed in each tower in English. The total hiking covers around 7-8 kilometers, about 3-4 hours. The hiking is a little bit strenuous. After the sunset and getting down from the Great Wall, you’ll be picked up again from middle gate and drive directly back to the city. A Chinese dinner is arranged at a local farmer's restaurant. After dinner, you'll return to the city at around 21:00-22:30 (depending on the season), the tour ends.
