Meet your guide at the War Memorial outside the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Canterbury Cathedral on Buttermarket. Set off on a running tour that takes you along the old city walls to the four corners of the city, weaving through hundreds of years of stories.
See and learn all about the key historic and cultural sites Canterbury has to offer, as well as discovering some of the city's many secrets. Your guide will be happy to answer any questions you may have or even take a detour to show you something that may be of interest to the group.
The tour is suitable for all levels of runner, from beginner to expert. The route is step-free and suitable for those running with young children in buggies. Please arrive in running kit (including trainers) appropriate for the British weather. Please bring bottled water if required.
While you will be running the distance of 5.6km, it will be at a gentle pace and there will be regular stops for photos, tour information, and a chance to catch your breath. Because the tour contains frequent stops, you will most likely be able to run further and faster than you would on your usual run. No one gets left behind (including the guide!).
