Discover this unique chapel decorated with human bones. Built in the 14th century as part of a Cistercian monastery, it houses the remains of about 40,000 people. After the cemetery was abolished in the late 15th century, a Sedlec monk arranged the bones into large pyramids in 1511. The chapel's striking decorations are believed to be designed by renowned architect J. B. Santini.

Visit the Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady in Sedlec - Kutná Hora (UNESCO). Originally built in the 14th century in the Neo-Gothic style, it was abandoned and damaged during the Hussite Wars. It was later reconstructed in the pure Baroque style by the famous architect Jan Blažej Santini. This masterpiece represents a unique blend of Gothic and Baroque architecture.

It’s unclear if the upper floor was ever fully completed, as the chapel gradually lost significance with the completion of St. Barbara’s Cathedral.

Hrádek is a historic building in Kutná Hora, originally constructed in the late 13th century as a fortress. It later transitioned into a residence and underwent renovations to achieve its current form in the late 15th century. Today, it houses the Museum of Silver, offering insights into the town's rich mining history and providing visitors with the chance to explore an actual silver mine. / If you choose the basic tour, we will only see the exterior.
