What you can expect

The best advice we can give any visitor to Rome is… eat! Eat a lot, and eat WELL. This includes leaving room for a perfect dessert after dinner, and we've timed this tour perfectly to coincide with after-dinner time to top off a perfect day or eating and sightseeing in Rome.

On this food tour you'll discover the spots where every Roman with a sweet tooth loves to go after enjoying an evening meal. Discover what desserts are in season at the time you are travelling. Just like Roman's love to use only seasonal ingredients in their meals, even certain sweets and desserts are only produced “in-season” in coincidence with particular festivities. You might even try a traditional “maritozzo” – a sweet bun filled with fresh cream which is a Roman classic with origins in ancient Roman times.

In addition to a seasonal surprise, we'll also enjoy tastings of classics. Choose from over 150 flavors of home-made Gelato at a local ice-cream shoppe that produces it's own gelato in-house from scratch. Try an artisan Tiramisù (literally - “pick me up”) at the place everyone is calling “the Best Tiramisù in town”. To wash it own down, enjoy an italian espresso coffee or a cappuccino and learn how to order one of the many variations on your own at any local coffee bar.

Stops and precise inclusions may vary from tour to tour based on seasonality of the ingredients and our continuous search for the very best examples of Roman dessert. The itinerary covers the historic heart of Rome and includes stops to enjoy Rome's most famous monuments illuminated at night.
