Great place, perfect for our needs in Bermuda

Right next to Devils Hole, and a short 5 min walk to an amazing beach at John Smith's Bay. A downstairs room in a shared house, with other long term residents upstairs, who were lovely during our stay.We mostly used buses, but this may be better suited to those hiring bikes due to early termination of bus services (6pm ish).We did have a plumbing issue early on, but the host was very communicative (and apologetic) and this was resolved as soon as was reasonably possible.So a great base for touring the island, and a nice veranda to chill out in at the end of the day as the sun goes down.

The property was charming, a slice of authentic Bermuda from years ago. The house was comfortable and the long term renters were friendly ... there were long term renters upstairs. It was described as though we had the house to ourselves. We went into the situation thinking we were renting a house, not a room; additionally the key to open our room is the same as the key to open the front door to the house ~ zero security. It was a lovely vacation, but others should be aware of the bait & switch.

Quiet getaway

This home was the perfect stay for 1 or 2 people in smiths parish. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it’s great if you’re looking to just relax away from the busy downtown. It was close to the airport & the beach, and there was a convenience store & restaurant walking distance. The host was super easy to reach and always answered within minutes. Definitely recommend staying here!
