When you are trying to reserve a hotel room in this area of Japan, Sapporo could be a good option for you. It can be found 45 miles (76 kilometers) outside of Shakotan. Sapporo accommodations include he Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Resort Spa MIZU no UTA and Hotel Emisia Sapporo.
If time allows, adventurous travelers could venture to the other parts of Hokkaido. Explore the terrain of Hokkaido's coastal plains and forests.
