There was no hot water for showers, either at night or in the morning. I've stayed here over the years and this was never the case. The bathroom sink had a crack. The hair product was empty (conditioner). Front desk tried to excuse lack of hot water due to # of guests there...sorry but I've seen it a lot busier there. Finally, not too important, but lack of tv channels ridiculous. Look, new hotels are being built nearby, and will offer expected amenities. Apple Farm cannot rely on its charm of old. My family, extended family, and neighbors have stayed at the property. For the $$, we may have to reconsider.

The check in was fast. the Clerk very attentive to my questions and helpful. The hotel was a lovely place that made feel back to the past with the old mill, the creek the gardens and the beautiful scenery with the hills behind the room. It was a pleasant stay having free continental breakfast, coffee, tea and hot apple cider at night and also wine tasting. I felt very welcome when at check in they gave me home cookies:)

We came to the area for a wedding that started at 3:00. When I checked in online earlier that day I asked if we could get an early check in so we could dress for the wedding after a 4.5 hour drive. When we arrived, the person at the front desk insisted that check in was at 4pm and refused to even check to see if there were any rooms that were ready. We travel a lot, and I’ve never encountered a hotel that wouldn’t at least TRY to accommodate early check in. We left and checked in to another hotel across the street. I would never stay at Apple Farm due to the poor customer service.

Our room was very cozy comfortable and clean. Had ee known that restaurant was closed and the mill too, we would have waited to book our stay. Upon initial check in we were told our room wasn't ready. We stayed in the middle of the week and the hotel wasn't even half full. The clerk at the desk was rude. When we finally got checked in next clerk was very pleasant. At this time we aren't sure about staying again. Its too bad because The Apple Farm was once our favorite place.

Not as it used to be with the service. Not as quaint as it once was. The continental breakfast was a joke. With all the amazing bakeries around I expected Apple Farm traditional high standards
