Great experience. We stayed one night for a concert and it was walkable with restaurants nearby to enjoy before we went. Room was small but clean and had the usual amenities. Was greeted warmly and was given a complimentary bottle of wine, water, and snacks which a nice surprise. Check in and out was easy. Valet parking does take some time but the time given was accurate so make sure to call ahead if car is needed.

Very cute property. Staff was relatively friendly. Got a few weird stares from older staff. The only thing is that parking was not included in our stay. I dont believe this to be a proplem with the property but expedia itself. Expedia lists the parking as parking available and does not specify that it is not included. I did not appreciate getting to the property and having to park elsewhere because parking there was $65 plus tax.

It was ok. Front desk staff was very nice but that was probably the only positive thing I can say. The rooms are not anything special, there was no room service, and every time we tried to call for something they never answered the phone.

Hotel Abri was sufficient for our overnight needs. Located near Union Square and walking distance to that area. The lobby looks a bit dirty and run down. The 1 br suite was sufficient for my husband and I as well as two teens. The bathroom was super clean with plenty of towels. The bed and linens were new and clean.We received a care package of wine and snacks on check in. The AC consisted of window units and our view was of the roof. For a short term stay, I would stay again. A solid B.

Very serious security problems. I came back from a day of meetings to find the door to my room open. I talked to staff at the desk about what’d happened and said I was very concerned. They expressed concern and said they’d talk to the manager and investigate and the manager would call me back “immediately.” It’s two days later and they NEVER called me back. In the interim, every day my key stops working. The staff says this happens all the time. They keep reissuing keys. Every day it’s a different person at the desk, so they don’t know me. Only one even asked for my name and they’ve never asked for my ID, but keep reissuing keys. I think I could literally ask for a key to any room in the hotel. I’m never staying here again and suggest you don’t either. It’s in an area in the Tenderloin that’s not at all that safe to begin with. Management’s disregard for safety I fear will result in tragedy someday.

Front door locked needed room key to enter hotel so extra security. Front staff helpful. Room small but clean. Hotel close to trolley. Close to resrersunts and shopping. Good location. Get bag with wine, water and snacks.

Location is super convenient to public transit and local markets. Very walkable to tourists spots and the mall. The staff is very welcoming and the lobby is clean. The room itself is maintained enough considering the history/age of the property. Something that we weren’t too fond of was the window and A/C unit in the room. It wasn’t sealed very well, so you could hear the street noise very clearly which disrupted our sleep. At least the bed was comfy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Wanted to try an older hotel. Solo traveling was ok with wine provided by Expedia. However could hear some noise from higher floor, people walking by corridor. Sufficient for one traveling on budget. Room and bed was nice. Hotel door is locked all times so felt safe. Good close by garage parking for $45 instead of valet at $70!
