Le Square Phillips Hotel And Suites
"We stayed at the Square Phillips Hotel in downtown Montreal while attending the KATSEYE concert, and the location was absolutely phenomenal! It's just steps away from Sainte-Catherine Street, two metro stations, and the 747 airport bus stop (right around the corner). It's also less than a 20-minute walk to both the Bell Centre and Old Montreal. We booked a two-bed studio and couldn't believe how HUGE the room was (over 1,000 sq. ft.!). It featured a fully renovated kitchenette and a spacious bathroom with plenty of counter space. We really appreciated having so much room to spread out. That said, there were a few things that could definitely use some improvement. First, the mattresses were seriously overdue for replacement. I actually ended up with significant hip pain by the end of the weekend. The pillows weren't particularly comfortable either. The shower was another disappointment. The water pressure was almost nonexistent, making it nearly impossible to wash your hair in a reasonable amount of time. I ended up taking baths instead. The rooftop pool, although spacious and located on a beautiful terrace, was rather cold. While I understand that not every hotel has a hot tub, I do think the pool temperature should at least be kept at a comfortable level, particularly for guests who aren't necessarily looking for a cold plunge! The breakfast buffet also felt rather underwhelming. There was no hot food, the selection remained exactly the same throughout our three-day st"
