Hotel Nikko Narita
"TLDR: one-night, efficient, clean, simple, awesome staff. I landed at about 4pm at Narita airport. While it seems close enough to walk, and I like to walk over transport, it was raining so I appreciate that there’s three different airport shuttles every hour. The staff were also dizzyingly quick to accommodate to whatever my needs COULD be, so it really took me by surprise. The room was non-smoking, clean and simple. It had amenities like a toothbrush, small toothpaste, a small foldable comb, q-tips, cotton pads and slippers, shampoo, etc. I didn’t toggle the tv too much nor did I eat dinner or check out the other amenities. I got there, showered, and slept all night. I had opted for the next day breakfast buffet, and at check-in they give you a breakfast buffet slip to show to the restaurant staff. It was a moderate and great selection of western and Japanese items. I liked that they gave a two-sided card. One side marked that you’re sitting at a table and on the back it says you’re finished. Heading to check out, a front desk staff saw me around the corner from the elevator with my luggage so she came to meet me halfway and again, it was dizzyingly quick, culture shock. But I was able to tell ask her about check out. She also took my luggage to have them put it on the shuttle and confirmed my terminal. The wait time wasn’t long. The staff is awesome! So, if you need that in-between stop before your full trip, I recommend it."
