Ink 48 is convenient to the cruise terminal but also to Times Square and local attractions. The room was clean, updated and had all the amenities needed. My 12th floor room had a nice view of the Intrepid and the Hudson River. I would definitely stay here again.

Thankfully the doorman was on top of things! We were waiting for our room and he went to check for us and it was ready, nobody told us. We were given a room on 14, key card didn’t work. Doorman called front desk and they gave a different room number. SOMEONE WAS IN THERE!!! Went downstairs and given another room on a different floor and only the doorman apologized.

Disappointed in Hell's Kitchen

This may want to bill itself as a 4-star hotel, its really only a 2-star, there is no restaurant, no rooftop, there is a $45 wifi charge per day. There are 4 elevators and it seems you wait forever for one. The bed was OK, the AC did not work and there are signs of rough wear and tear in my room on the 3rd floor. It needs someone in hotel management to go through and make sure everything works in each room, before releasing to the public. Its an old printing company that was turned into a hotel.

This property is very tired! Walls scratched up and elevators dingy. The roof deck bar/restaurant was closed for renovation so there was no food or beverage service after 2:00pm when the breakfast area closed. The view from our suite was fabulous of the Intrepid and the river, but differently more a 3 star property than anything close to a 5 star!!!!

We stayed 1 night at Ink 48 Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the condition of the building and rooms were underwhelming. Our room had a window with a broken seal, allowing cold air to flow in, a rattling air conditioning unit and evidende of poor workmanship on various fittings around the shower and bathroom. The blinds were also old and tacky. The hotel itself is a convenient location to the West River and several cruises, but otherwise is a largely out of the action (which was not the worst thing traveling with a child, but others may prefer more excitement nearby).

Quite, spacious, beautiful city view

I had a wonderful experience here! Excellent view of NYC and wonderfully nice staff. Fron check-in to check out! I felt welcomed and was trated so nice. I highly recommend this hotel. It is walkable to Javits about 10-15 mins depending on how fast you walk. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. I did notice so.e of the walls and doors could be wiped down but nothing too major. I notice everything. I would definitely be back here. The room was also very quite, I had no trouble with sounds from neighboring rooms.

Everything was amazing, literally the only thing was that although the room looked clean it had a perpetual fart smell that we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. The hallway had a similar smell too.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. Didn’t realize they had changed some things. As a kimpton they had a fun wine happy hour at 5. They had a nice restaurant for lunch and a bar. We had planned on having lunch before the show to save time. No restaurant! We like to have a drink at our hotel bar, no bar. Had I known they changed their policies for the worse I never would have stayed there! To add insult to injury at 3am they had a false fire alarm! Waking us up on the night of daylight savings time. Needless to say we were exhausted! So many full service hotels in Manhattan to choose from. Would never stay here again! It was $$$$ too
