"This is an affordable option in downtown Chicago. The hotel looks really old but it has lots of character. The rooms are small but if you don’t plan on spending a lot of time there, then it’s great. There is a bus stop right outside so you can easily access the Michigan Ave shops. You can also walk if that’s more of your vibe. The parking is expensive, so it’s better to use Spothero to find cheaper options nearby. We were on the tenth floor and you could hear the traffic down below and the wind was really whipping the night we were there. The beds were comfy and no real complaints — just lots of character and the price was right."

"Check in process was smooth, although our room was ready after the 4pm check in time. I believe we didn’t receive a call to check in until about 5:30. The rooms were small, and okay. They could have been a lot cleaner. We also didn’t have any towels when we checked in so we had to call and ask for towels. "
