"It felt like visiting a family member’s home…the room was clean, stocked, and homie. Very personable staff, friendly and helpful. There are comfortable amenities: a cool little pool, bbq and seating areas and you can borrow beach chairs, towels and ice chests. Nice continental breakfast items and very good coffee. It’s literally across the street from the beach in Kihei, great location, close enough to the eats but private and away from the bustle. Great value and would highly recommend to anyone looking around Kihei on Maui, you won’t find a better value. "

"This property is really built more like a timeshare mini-apartment setup with its built in kitchenette and washer / dryer combo. It’s in a quieter part of Maui so it has more of a laid back feel to it and would suit travelers who really want to have a “home away from home”. Ideal for people who have their own car rental. Nice central location with convenient travel times to different parts of the island. The timeshare “talk” is 90 min for a $300 gift card and discounts to other activities around the island. Supposedly no pressure afterwards but I didn’t personally go to listen to it. The washer has a little separate side box on the wall that you have to activate (press button until it turns green) before the washer will actually run a load. Avoid the “breakfast included” option unless you really love egg McMuffins. The breakfast is made to order at the on-site “grab and go” store (8a - 3p) and is limited specifically to the English muffin breakfast sandwich - choice of bacon, sausage, or ham. No substitutions allowed. Also comes with one canne Aloha fruit drink or a large coffee. The breakfast also ends at 11am but it doesn’t say that anywhere on the voucher. I would suggest Hilton really consider making this arrangement more flexible (i.e. breakfast sandwich or item or cheaper value) instead of being so rigid. After all, wouldn’t you get tired of the same thing day after day? The menu says you can get it with English muffin or bagel. All in all, still a great hotel. "

"he beachfront I expected, but was close. The reviewers comments about the turtles sold me. And, I did find the Burton my last day. The condo was clean, kitchen had all the utensils and dishes that you should need. The air conditioner in the bedroom was LOUD!! It was needed the first night due to condo being closed up prior to my arrival. However, by the second day, when I had time to open the windows and get cross ventilation going, I didn’t need the air conditioners. Would stay here again if I ever get back to Maui. "
