Book a hotel near Point Sur Lighthouse, Carmel

"The good: The room was spotless and very clean. Excellent location- walking distance to all the main shops and restaurants. Areas of opportunity: We so happened to come during a huge heat wave and there is no AC. Asked the front desk about a fan and they didn’t have any fans. Also asked about a water dispenser or anything to refill my water bottle and they suggested the convince store adjacent to the hotel. The breakfast was ok, sort of what you’d expect for a free hotel breakfast. Nothing exciting but did the trick. Overall, would stay here again based on the location and cleanliness. Just make sure you don’t visit during a heatwave. "

"The room was outdated and didn’t have a lot of modern amenities. It was clean and the view was amazing. If it wasn’t for the view, there would be no reason to stay there though. "

"The views were spectacular. Dining in the Pacific Edge Restaurant was good. Be prepared to walk several steps & uphill to get to the rooms & parking, but it's worth it!"

"Lobby is fine and has a nice 70’s retro vibe to it but the rooms were terrible, smell and not a $4-500 a night value. Won’t be coming back. "
