My husband and I stayed at this hotel, because I was running the Big Sur marathon. It was an amazing hotel to stay for a couple. The rooms were clean. They had some great areas on property to hang out. The beach was a block away.

Quiet location with plenty of parking. The grounds were immaculate and the rooms functional. Lovely touches from a welcome gift to an early evening knock on the door with bedtime cookies. This was a beautiful place to stay in Carmel by the Sea. It is only one block away from a scenic beach with a nice walking trail. The property was immaculate and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to order nice breakfasts and have them delivered to our room. This property is a few blocks from downtown so it is very quiet. It was very easy to obtain an Uber for the short ride but the walk is filled with the most beautiful houses to see. Parking is an issue and it is an expensive place to stay but it is still well worth it!

The room was very comfortable, and the staff was extremely accommodating. We were warmly greeted with a delicious, refreshing drink upon arrival, which was such a lovely touch. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like turndown service and a home-baked cookie. Highly recommend!
