The property was good overall. I was confused that I booked with VRBO but started getting emails from another company Vacasa, so maybe this property is owned by a company? I had to unsubscribe from Vacasa emails. When I did have to contact someone about something, the responses were always very fast (like an on call employee), but the person didn't seem to know anything about the property. The first response was always "I'll check into that". Some details, like how to work the lock on the front door and access the WiFi, were not included, but the other emails had a ton of information about things that weren't always helpful. Some inconsistencies and surprises: The TV definitely does not stream. I spent a half hour or more and was texting back and forth. I did find a way to try pairing it with my Amazon Prime account, but it just hung and I had to restart the TV. We ended up watching a show on our iPad, which wasn't ideal. The listing also mentions the grill, so we brought hamburgers to eat one night. I looked and looked but couldn't find a spatula, so I texted the "owner" number and the response I eventually got was "I don't see one listed", so bring your own spatula if you plan to use the grill.Overall the neighborhood is charming and private and slow and quiet, which are all great. It's relatively close to boat ramp 1, which we used to launch our boat. The driveway slopes away from the street and is narrow at the street, which is challenging as far as managing a boat.
