Cape Cod Shopping

At Cape Cod, we highly recommend that you shop 'til you drop... your toes into the sand.

Whether you like nick-knacks or antiques, country crafts or incredible vintage clothing, Cape Cod is sure to have just what you're looking for. And when you're finished gathering your loot, you're only a few minutes away from the coast so you can put that new bathing suit to the test.

If antiques are your thing, Old King's Highway is the place to be. Get lost in the various galleries and antique shops along the historic Route 6A. Want specialty boutiques and retail shops? Head towards the Main Street where you'll find all that and more.

And of course, if you are desperate for local souvenirs emblazoned with "Cape Cod", you'll find plenty in a variety of shops all around the area.

Here are the top places to shop on Cape Cod:

Antique and Craft Stores

  • Local professional artists and craftsmen come together at Coastal Craft Gallery, where the art is inspired by life on Cape Cod.
  • Browse the rows of American antiques at The MEWS at Brewster Antiques. You'll also find folk art, wooden-ware, textiles and old-time ice cream molds. All necessities, of course.
  • With maps ranging from nautical charts to Cape Cod maps to ghost maps, the Maps of Antiquity has it all. Just be sure not to use your new purchase to attempt to navigate your way home.

Clothes Shopping

  • Get your souvenir Cape Cod t-shirt at Chatham Clothing Bar on Main Street. They carry both men and women's clothing in sizes small to XXX-large.
  • Deck out the kids in sailor outfits or Cape Cod inspired gear at Chatham T Kids.
  • For the largest selection of clothing stores including Macy's and boutique retailers, the Cape Cod Mall is the place to go.

Gift Shopping

  • Bring home an original pottery piece from Flying Pig Pottery, where white clay and natural colors are used to produce stunning earth-toned works.
  • The drinkers in your family will love Oysterville Vodka, a family-owned shop selling smooth-tasting and gluten-free vodka. Cheers!
  • Put on your best pirate voice when you walk into the gift shop at the Whydah Pirate Museum. Parrot for the shoulder not included.
