Clean, comfortable room and lovely hosts

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Betty y Jorge. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we had a lovely patio with a table and stools. There were also sun loungers outside, plus an area for doing laundry and a washing line. Our hosts were lovely - very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great - just a couple of minutes from the beach.

The double room was very clean and everything worked. It was exactly as in the photo. Comfortable bed, nice pillows and good aircon. The TV channels all worked too. The outside area is nice with an outdoor shower and area to wash and dry clothes. A couple of minutes from the beach. Beach towels provided too! Delicious breakfast and kind hostess. The restaurant next door is very convenient too. This was the perfect accommodation for us and we highly recommend it!

Nice small room just like the pictures. Host lives on the upper portion and is very helpful and can be approached on WhatsApp, so it's very helpful. Also she speaks good English, so no issues in communication.

Great stay! The wifi didn’t work very often which was challenging as free wifi in cuba is very hard to find, but other then that everything was great!

Close to the beach. There is a kitchen outside the bedroom, which looked good INITIALLY and has everything, pots, pans, cups and cutlery, BUT, there is no gas or electric cooking hob, no microwave, even no electric kettle. So what's the point? I can not even boil hot water and make a cup of coffee or tea by myself in this “kitchen”! The last and most important thing is I didn’t have basic normal sleep for the two nights staying here. I was waken up at 3am to search for the source of non-stop noise and loud music. The poor quality air conditioner compressor in the property next door made loud noise non-stop, only 2-3 meters away from the window above my bed, and the old styled wood window can’t be closed and sealed tight at all, even though I used earplugs, the loud noise penetrated to my ears and brains all the time. Besides, extremely loud music was played by a nearby swimming pool inside a hotel complex, all day all night, particularly from evening through to 3am, after 3 or 4am, the volume of music was reduced a bit or covered by other noises in the morning. I know these had nothing to do with the host, but for people who are sensitive about loud noise during sleeping, definitely you could NOT sleep well here.

Our stay in Betty casa was just excellent! Young girl Daniela let us in before our check in. Room was very beautiful and clean! Casa located in the middle of Varadero central. All what you need (shops, wifi point, restaurants) are just 5 min walk. She even let us keep room longer then check out time. Big thanks to Daniela and highly recommend to stay!!!

Great location, jorge was so nice! There’s a great Italian restaurant next door named don alex! The house is so close to the beach! The room was clean and fulfilled all the needs! Jorge helped us with our transportation back to Havana!
