The good: Staff was friendly, room was large & bed was comfortable. Individual reading lights on each side of the king bed was a nice touch. Soft water was really appreciated. The bad: This establishment has NO elevator. I think they should say that up front in advertising. My wife has bad knee and our room was on the second floor. We received two card-keys, the first I tried on our room didn't work, second was okay. Trip back to the desk to get that corrected, which they did with no problem. About an hour after check-in, power went off for the building. Looking outside other businesses nearby were still operating just fine. We were ready for bed so elected to stay. Drapes over heating/air conditioning unit were too long and blocked airflow. Chilly night and it would run for a minute and shut off because the drapes trapped the hot air so the thermostat shut it off. Really bad design for the drapes, need something to keep them away from the heating/air conditioning unit so the air coming out is not blocked. Breakfast - worst we've ever had. "Scrambled eggs" were little circles of scrambled egg about 2" diameter and a 1/4" thick. Bagel was stale. Only two small yogurt in the fridge. Tried french toast, still cold from being refrigerated. Not likely to stay there again.

Easily accessible from the interstate. Staff was had better knowledge of the area, unlike the last time we stayed there.

Would be nice to restock breakfast often, not much to eat 30 minutes before closing. Also fruit would be a nice addition.

Next time I will spend a little more for a better hotel. There was a musky drop tile ceiling in the bathroom, the ice machine was disgusting, spewing black chunks, the pool wasn't much larger than a Suburban.
