The Surf Rider is a comfortable, chalet style home near all the action at Cape Kiwanda, but on a quiet, dead-end street. This family home has a sunny front deck a great place to escape the summer wind and unwind in the sun. The house also features a pool table and an eating bar. Two level home. First level entry has living room, kitchen, dining area. Bedroom with queen bed , bedroom with double bed and twin/twin bunks . 2 full hall baths. Upstairs has open loft with double futon , TV, pool table and double bed .

Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

Cute but disappointing

Very cute home with a GREAT layout—however, the master bed is literally a cotton pad on a wooden plank. It was the most uncomfortable bed we’ve ever slept in—even went and bought a mattress topper and that didn’t help. Additionally, the television was fixed on PBS Kids and property management was unable to repair it during our six day stay. Would have been totally OK if there had been a comfortable bed. Truly, if you aren’t used to an extremely firm mattress, don’t even try it.

Perfect location to enjoy the beach!

We had a great time with our family in this comfortable, roomy cottage just a sand dune away from the water. The open design, and pool table made it nice for relaxing away from the sun and sand. Would stay here again anytime!
