This is the most inhospitable hotel I've ever stayed in, and I have stayed in a lot of hotels. The staff is not welcoming, they hardly talk to you, and don't bother to look up from their phones as you come and go. In four days, only once did a staff member Sat hello to us and that was a housekeeper in the hallway. Not once did the lobby staff, which were 3-4 at any given time in a small area, help with doors, greet us, or even make eye contact. The place is very run down. Old carpet, cracked sinks, inconsistent hot water for showers and the a/c unit rattled constantly making sleeping difficult. Housekeeping NEVER came by. We don't need our sheets changed every day, but having our garbage dumped and maybe new towels every couple of days would be nice. No "thank you" for staying with us on our way out, just "Keys? That is all". We will not be back. 0/10 do not recommend.

The air conditioner it is just in front of the bed, that's awful and annoying, you have all the noise in your face an it is hard to sleep without AC. For the other think the personal is ok, the room was clean, without a great view but ok. Location is goos yo enter and exit with your own car. 7/10 in general

I visit NYC and stay in its hotels several times a year. This was my first (and last) time staying at the Night Hotel; my worst hotel experience in recent memory. The experience would have been disappointing at $100/night, but at a non-refundable $300+ it felt fraudulent; a far cry from the the way the hotel looks online. Too many things were subpar during my stay...lack of maintenance/investment, dirty common areas (including the elevators' carpets), staff with attitude, rusty bathtub, bathroom door that looked like it had been forced open with a crow bar, faulty plumbing, drilled holes on the walls that had not been covered, crusty towels, employee who unclogged our toilet with a plunger and let the water drip on the floor as he walked away, small and lumpy beds, and so on...

Easy and quick checkin. Very easy to get to, right off the Subway. Area is very walkable and lots of eating choices. Some areas of the hotel are a bit run down but it's not terrible. Would recommend and will probably stay again.

We paid 300.00 per night. our room had wallpaper falling off the walls. a window air conditioner. the toilet stopped flushing on day 1. We had to pour water into the toilet with a garbage bucket. no microwave or refrigerator. Entire building needs a massive upgrade. Would have been an ok stay if the price was around 100.00 per night.

Bare Necessities @ Night Hotel Broadway

"Bare bones" is how we'd describe the hotel room — it had basic necessities but nothing more (with the exception of a free toothbrush and toothpaste). The toilet tank did not have a proper seal so it continually ran and refilled, making noise. The AC unit is old, loud, and has a musty smell. The pillows are extremely flat. However, it's definitely the most affordable hotel in UWS, so if you're looking for a good deal on a no-frills hotel room, this one should work.
