We stayed 1 night and it was adequate. The one issue, there was a sewer smell in the bathroom. Could probably be fixed with a plummer looking into it.

This old hotel [house] was very unique - kind of like the British sitcom "Fawlty Towers." The steps up into the place, the steps and bannisters up to 2nd & 3rd floors, accessing the other part of the building via one stairwell to another. Each room was different - some had closets, others didn't, the bathrooms were modernized, the heating registers. A real [fairly inexpensive] experience in such a cosmopolitan city of Montreal.

Really excellent budget option. My room was small but clean, comfortable, and functional. Great location near McGill. Maybe the only downside was that they don't have a lot of people working the desk, but that wasn't an issue for me.

My only issue was the parking situation I parked on the road in front of the building and it was fine didn't get a ticket great place to stay very CLEAN Close to the main street St Catherine.

The property is quite in a nice area & walking distance to Metro Subway. My studio style room I stayed in on the third (3rd) floor was very cozy & very clean. The queen bed was very comfortable. I felt like I was in my own bed at home. And, the staff were very nice & accommodating. Excellent customer service & I highly recommend this property who are looking for a place to stay in Montreal.

Lovely older cafe close to downtown Montreal. Upon arrival around 11pm my key wasn't in the lockbox, but the concierge came right away when called and made a new key for me to make my way in. Everything was clean and available and the staff were friendly and conversational. Highly recommended.

I have been to many places around the world but this is the worst place i have ever stayed. Not only my room card did not work but the room was trash. Looks like someone just slept there before my arrival. Bed was not done, dirty towels on the floor. I was lucky to find a spear bath towel that i could use. Stay away.
