Comfortable room but Disappointed
The basics were great, clean room, comfortable bed, etc. They are remodeling the main entrance. There is no signage to tell you where to enter. Thankfully the construction people helped us. This building is both a Hampton Inn and a Homewood Suites which is confusing. We were looking forward to the pool and hot tub after a long day of hiking. The outdoor part of the pool was closed and the indoor pool was very cloudy. The hot tub water was clear but a greenish brown and smelled like a pond. We didn't use either of them. We have had a pool for years so we know better. Homewood Suites always used to have a really good breakfast unlike most free hotel breakfasts. At least at this location, it's like a Hampton Inn breakfast. Unfortunately our stay was a little disappointing. We would not stay here again.

We have stayed at this property a few times before it changed hands. We recommended it to our family members with kids for an off property family reunion. We always loved the indoor/outdoor pool. We also loved the 2 room layout. Unfortunately the outdoor pool was closed, there was only one elevator, not acceptable, andthe whole lobby was under construction. How embarrassing! And btw, at 9 AM the “breakfast” was inedible. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the remodeled suites. It’s going to be a lovely hotel when it’s finished. We should have been informed of the construction! No excuses!

We arrived to find the hotel was under construction, none f the pictures do the property justice.. it was very dilapidated, the pool area was FILTHY and half was closed.. We had a leak in the bathroom ceiling, I let the front desk know and she simply told me there was a burst pipe and 7 rooms were affected.. no apology or offer to relocate rooms. The dining team were the only positive from this stay. Will not choose this property again.

I HAVE MORE OF AN ISSUE WITH EXPEDIA. I BOOKED TWO ROOMS AND ASKED THAT THEY BE IDENTICAL. THEY WERE NOT EVEN CLOSE FOR THE SAME PRICE! THERE WAS NO CHAIR OR COUCH IN ONE, YOU COULD ONLY SEE THE TV FROM THE BED, WHICH MEANT YOU COULD NOT SEE IT, NO GLASSES, SMALL REFRIGERATOR. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. MANAGER COULD NOT CHANGE ANYTHING BECAUSE I BOOKED THROUGH YOU. I WILL NOT BOOK THROUGH YOU AGAIN AS I TRUSTED YOU TO GIVE US COMPARABLE ROOMS! NO COMPARISON. I WILL NOT USE EXPEDIA AGAIN AND WILL WARN FELLOW TRAVELERS!!!

We selected this property because of the indoor pool. The water quality in the pool and spa was terrible on our first day. The pool was closed on our second day and openned two hours before check out on day three. The water quality was not noticibly improved. Questions of the staff on day regarding pool availability were "we will let you know when it opens" They did not request contact or room number. The PM desk clerk did confirm that the pool would not be available until the next day. We were traveling with our autistic adult son, and having the pool not available was very disapointing. They have an outdoor pool which was not open even in mid June. The suite room size was very small and especially compared to other suite accommodations. The poperty was well appointed and in excellent condition but unable to offset the negatives.
