"We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful and the property and room were clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. One thing I really liked was every floor had a water bottle refill station (thought this was a great idea!) so bring your water bottle! We didn’t use the pool or gym but we did go down and view them and wish we had more time to use them. There is a resort fee and as we didn’t use the wellness facilities, was kind of a waste of money for us. But I would definitely stay here again. The chateau is central to everything in old Quebec. It was a lovely experience and one I would recommend."

"The hotel is generally clean and well maintained. However, I did want to flag two areas for improvement: 1. Accessibility: Guests with strollers or disabilities are directed to use a back entrance through the parking area, which is poorly maintained and unpleasant. During our stay, there was dirty water on the ground that appeared to be a sewage leak, and we had no choice but to pass through it with our luggage and stroller, which was a very uncomfortable experience. 2. Breakfast Staff: One of the breakfast staff members yelled at us when we accidentally sat at a reserved table. A simple, polite correction would have been much more appropriate."

"This hotel was "okay" but not one we would go back to. The best feature was the front desk staff, who were unfailingly helpful in answering questions and making suggestions. The room was quiet, clean,and conveniently located near the elevator. The amenities (coffee maker, refrigerator) worked but were not really convenient. For example, the noise of the refrigerator's motor going on and off all night kept us awake; finally, in frustration, we unplugged it. The hotel's location in the "lower" area of Quebec City meant that we had to climb numerous steep streets and paths to reach the Chateau Frontenac area. The biggest problem was the lack of space. The hotel has no lobby to speak of, so we felt stuck in the room. The room itself was clean but quite small and lacked space to put things away. For example, it was impossible to unpack a suitcase since there was no dresser or other useful drawers. The sink was located in the bedroom, not the bathroom, which turned out to be a real nuisance. Since the cost of breakfast was not included in our room charge, we never ate at the hotel. We also didn't have a car, so we can't comment on parking."
