Hotel is tired. Been going here for 20 years, but it had been a while. No where to charge phones next to bed. And just an overall worn down tired feeling. Cleanliness was ok.

If you like barking dogs all night and not so clean rooms this is for you. I was very disappointed. I stayed four nights and the last two days I would not eat the breakfast. Just horrible. Don’t recommend

Hotel Royal Oak
Was there for a night for a local event. Older property but maintened. Bed was a bit hard. It was quiet and the room did the job for the night. Easy to get in and out. Hotel is close to downtown Royal Oak and the zoo. Would stay again.
