This property is full of history. It was built and operated as a members-only Rod and Gun Club since it's beginning. In 2019 the ownership of the property transferred and we are now opening it up for the first time to be available for public use.
It is a great facility for larger groups or multi-family events. There are 5 separate "motel room" style rooms with their own bathroom, a lodge, and 1 kitchen. These 5 motel rooms have 2 rooms with 2 twin beds in each and 3 rooms with a queen bed.
**There is also another wing of the property with 4 bunk rooms. This section is available to book with an additional fee. The 4 bunk rooms host another 18 beds (9 bunk beds). These rooms can be reserved for an additional $100/night for the 4 bed bunk rooms and $150/night for the 6 bed bunk rooms. Plus $60 for cleaning. All 4 rooms (18 beds) can be reserved for a discounted $400/night.
This facility is clean and in good condition, however it is more on the rustic side and the decor, furniture and appliances are all outdated. . We are currently working on updating some features.
*** Please keep in mind the facility is surrounded by the countryside. Due to the nature surroundings, there are bugs, rodents, dirt, etc surrounding the property. We do our best to keep all of those elements under control, but we do have some mice that make it into to facility. Please help us with this issue by not leaving doors open and by disposing of trash properly.***
There is a washer and dryer on the property. The kitchen is a full kitchen to serve your groups with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, and more. However, it is not modern. There are older cabinets and countertops. There is also no dishwasher.
While we have truly enjoyed this property, as have many throughout the years and continue to do so, we want to make sure the guest's expectations are accurate. Everything is clean and maintained well, but outdated in style and some function. The lodge is a large enough room to accommodate multiple families or group meetings. Ideal for smaller leadership retreats, church retreats, boy scout groups, etc.
Come enjoy what the area provides, with fishing, hiking, boating, rafting, and so much more. While on the property enjoy the time to play games, talk and enjoy the facility.
Guest access
Guests will be given a code for key pad entry to the lodge (a day or so before their stay) to the kitchens and each motel room. There is also a room which used to serve as a bar which is connected to the lodge with a breathtaking view of the mountains and lake
Other things to note
To save on doing dishes you may want to bring some disposable plates but there are plenty of dishes and silverware.
The kitchen is also stocked with pots and pans for coking.
