Historical Normal Heights is a vibrant, lively and “hip” neighborhood in mid San Diego! Famed Adams Ave is a 2 block walk north and features several restaurants, sport bars, gastropubs, pizza joints, Starbucks, ice cream parlors and more! Trolly Barn & Ward Canyon parks for concert and outdoor movie venues! Minutes to beaches. SD Zoo, Balboa Park Museums, Sea World, Old Town, Gaslamp, Embarcadero, Coronado and more!
Casita Adam’s is located in the middle of both 805 & 15 Freeways! Easy access to public transportation on Adam’s Ave and El Cajon Blvd
Kitchen does NOT have a dishwasher. Part time vacation home sits at the front of the property w their separate backyard & parking, adjacent to studio . This is an urban neighborhood w close proximity neighbors. Quiet time outdoors is 8pm to 8 am.

Q: Do you accept PETS of any kind, size , age etc?
A: NO. We do not. This is not
flexible due to owner acute medical allergies.
Q: Do I need to pay for the coffees & teas in the kitchen?
A: No, that is all free on the house!
Q: Are you the owner of the property?
A: Yes, we are the sole owners of this property.
Q: Where can we throw away our extra trash?
A: There are big trash recycle & trash bins located in yard
Q: Is there air conditioning?
A: YES ! AC /HEAT split unit
Q: Is parking difficult to find?
A: You may park in the space accessed from alleyway. Marked 3420 (behind house 3418 MonroeAve)vacay rental Casa Monroe.
Q: Is there a grocery store/pharmacy nearby?
A: There is a Vons grocery store within walking distance just on Adams Ave. Only 0.5 miles away. There is also a Rite-Aid pharmacy across the street from Vons.
Q: Where can I catch the Trolley into downtown?
A: The Trolley station is located about 4 miles north in Mission Valley. There is also public buses on Adams Ave just 2 block north.
Q: How have you prepared the house for COVID 19?
A: The owners are following strict sanitizing and cleaning guidelines after each guest checkout. Cleaners containing bleach, ammonia are being used consitently. In addition, Lysol spraying is done extensively along with airing the house in between guest.
Q: Can more people people stay in an unexpected emergency?
A: No more that 2 ppl at all times. If this is not observed you may have to vacate without refund immediately.
DAMAGE & ASSOCIATED COSTS
Although we as hosts and homeowners understand the occasional ‘accident’ in a rental property such as a broken wine glass, we take pride and very careful purchasing /selections of items in the house to ensure an enjoyable stay at Casa Monroe & Casita Adam’s. We would like our guests to be aware that there will be a charge to a guest after check out for the following items if they are destroyed, damaged, stained or missing etc.
Please be aware that the house is carefully inventoried after check out and before the next guest arrives. It is very carefully inspected for damage to the house and its contents, checked for permanent stains on the linens and it is especially checked for missing items. We do take photos of the rooms and also take inventory of all of the items in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms.
We provide black ‘make up’ wash cloths for removing make up located in each bathroom. There are paper towels provided in the kitchen for spills.
COST OF ITEMS FOR GUESTS TO REIMBURSE IN THE CASE OF DAMAGED, STAINED OR MISSING ITEMS IN THE HOUSE AFTER CHECK OUT.

Welcome to San Diego and Casita Adams!
Here's everything you may need to know about your visit. First, there is no sub-leasing any part of the studio. There is a max of 2 ppl and both persons names must be given at the time of booking. During your stay only the same 2 ppl are allowed during your stay. Please look over this prior to your arrival or if you have questions about your visit, most likely what you're looking for is in here:
Address: 3420 Monroe Ave, San Diego, CA 92116. Please follow these directions, step-by-step, in order to get into the house and you shouldn't have a problem.
ARRIVING: The entrance to the studio is accessed through the paved alleyway behind 3418 Monroe Ave. You will receive a message with the door codes via the August app. Please follow instructions for entry and lock up.
BASICS
SMART HOME: We have provided for our guests smart HD TV. We have also provided an Echo Dot “Alexa” and ask that you do not attempt to move it from its base. There are also security cameras at the exterior perimeter of the house.
KITCHEN: You will find a well stocked kitchen from Non stick pans to a colander to a blender to champagne/wine glasses etc. Basics are toaster, blender, mixer, cookie sheets, coffee 8-10 cup coffee maker, dishes, glassware & utensils for 2 people, mixing bowls, storage food keepers, wine corker and more!
SMOKING: There is a strict no smoking and/or vaping rule inside the house. Vaping, cigars and cigarettes only allowed at the deck please and only with the door closed. No illicit or illegal drugs.
DEPARTURE:
Please leave all linens on the beds. Our cleaning crew will strip bed.
PARKING: Private parking space in the alleyway in front of the studio unit. Our experience has been during most daytime hours there is available street parking. However, the streets do tend to fill up on holidays, late afternoon hours (rush hour) and especially on weekends, due to the fabulous pubs, restaurants and shops on Adams Ave, which is 2 blocks north of the property and walking distance for our guests to enjoy!
SLEEPING: Comfortable Queen Bed.
TV: This property has smart technology with apps built with it. Streams a variety of main stream channels and more including Pluto.
LAUNDRY: Stackable FREE washer/dryer for your use.
MISC: Additional towels for the bathroom and shower will be provided under the sink in each bathroom and on the cabinet in the laundry room.
If you will be in need of extra towels please let us know however, we have provided extras for your stay.
NOISE: This home is in close proximity to each neighbor on either side and beyond. Please keep the noise to a minimum, especially when you are enjoying your stay outside on the decks. QUIET TIME: 8PM TO 8AM
EARLY CHECK IN REQUESTS:
Before you arrive in town, we need to ensure our previous guests have checked out, the cleaning service has been through the unit, and that linens and towels are fresh and ready for your visit. All this takes time and needs to be done before you check in. Due to this tight timeframe, we typically don’t allow early check ins or late check outs. We apologize for any inconvenience.
PLEASE NOTE: CHECK OUT TIME IS 10:00AM. CHECK IN TIME IS ANYTIME AFTER 4PM. The code you will be provided will only work starting at that time. Please make your travel plans accordingly. Also, please close each door and lock it when you leave the premises each and every time.
