I wish I could rate this place higher. Check in was super sketchy as they asked me to pay in cash instead of my card. Never have I ever had a place I was staying prefer that. I was told at check in that housekeeping comes each day, which I asked if I could opt out of housekeeping. I was told yes.
When I went out to explore on my first day, I went to the front desk and reminded them again that I did NOT want housekeeping that day. I was told it’s okay, that they will only come in to replace towels and clean the bathroom. I told them I didn’t want that, and the women confirmed no housekeeping. When I come home that day, I walk in to find that my AC was turned on, towels were missing, and the money envelope that I had left in my room had been moved. Thankfully I was smart and removed the cash before I left that day.
On my 2nd day, I was leaving and was stopped in the parking lot by the man at the front desk. I told him about what happened, and again asked to have no service today. He would not take no for an answer and demanded that I explain why I did not want a service that was provided. I said since I left in the morning it would be unnecessary for me. I explained that I did not want anyone in my room since things had been moved and I had already said no. I was met with hostility, and it made me very uncomfortable.
