Airfares offered on Friday tend to be the cheapest, according to flight demand on Travelocity.ca in 2021. Purchasing your airfares on a Thursday or Saturday can also provide better value, however our advice if you’re looking to save money is to avoid booking on a Wednesday or Sunday. Our data shows that those two days have the highest ticket values on average, so keep this in mind if you’re browsing flight deals.
Frequent travellers may already know this, earlier in the week is often the cheapest time to fly. Flights departing on a Monday are the cheapest of the week. Since flights towards the middle of the week tend to be more popular, this causes the prices to rise. This is why, on average, airfares booked on Travelocity.ca in 2021 were most expensive for Wednesday departures.
Here’s the deal: It is typically possible to start comparing international airfares on Travelocity.ca up to 12 months in advance. However, it does depend on the carrier as not all airlines release their prices that far out. According to our 2021 flight demand trends, last minute planners can still bag a bargain with some of the cheapest fares appearing 2-4 weeks prior to their travel dates.

There is more to Tampa than just the city itself. With miles of pretty beaches, an energetic nightlife, and great weather, the Tampa Bay area attracts everyone from families to businessmen. Your flight to Tampa will land at Tampa International Airport (TPA), which is near plenty of hotels that you can use as a home base for your vacation.
Thanks in part to its large size, TPA has many convenient transportation options. Once you fly in and deplane, head to the Baggage Claim Level. If you reserved a rental car, find out in advance if your rental company is located on airport property or offsite. On-site companies are found across the walkway in the Red and Blue Baggage Claim areas, while courtesy shuttles for off-site rental companies pick up at the other end of the area. You can grab a taxi curbside outside on that same level. Each end of the baggage claim area has an air conditioned waiting room for limo and shared van passengers to enjoy until your ride gets there.
Local, regional, and charter buses also serve TPA. Hillsborough Regional Transit (HART) has a bus stop at the west end of the Red Baggage Claim by Belt #15. Check the route map and schedule located at the stop for ticket information. Red Coach provides regional bus service from TPA to Miami and Tallahassee; you can board at Ground Transportation Center Blue 2. Passengers using charter buses will find them at Ground Transportation Centers Red 1 and Blue 2.
Visit Travelocity to find cheap flights to TPA, and you’ll be watching the sun creep below the horizon over the Gulf of Mexico before you know it. Grab your discount Tampa flight or Tampa vacation bundle today to experience year-round, sun-soaked fun.
