Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. What a beautiful stay. We had the deluxe king cabin. Spacious and clean. We asked for a cabin which had a better balcony view of the woods. They happily gave us the cabin we requested. Evergreen is secluded in the woods which we like. It was quiet, peaceful, and restful. Plenty of staff, and very helpful to answer any questions. Takes about 50 minute drive to get to Yosemite valley. Cell service goes in and out so bring a paper map with you is best. We plan to stay at Evergreen again. Wonderful experience.

We stayed during November. It was not crowded. The cabin was very clean and the staff very friendly. The restaurant was great. Good food and friendly staff. You are close to the park entrance. The Lodge is about 7 miles off the highway. The road is narrow and a bit bumpy at times. You don't see many houses along the way. You may think you're lost, but at the end it's worth it.
