"Perfect location"
We stayed for the weekend (Fri to Sun.) It is only a block to the Public Gardens and Boston Commons. Could also walk to stops for city trolley and duck tours. Hotel service was great and food at the onsite restaurants was good. We got a petite room, which would have been adequate for one person but was cramped for a couple. Although well decorated and with a comfy bed, it was smaller than cruise staterooms we have had. Would definitely stay there again, but in a regular hotel size room. Warning - if travelling in late fall or winter - Boston weather can be cold, the city wind will chill you through the warmest coats, so add layers.

"Good but parking is terrible"
I thought the hotel was great, the staff was great and the rooms were great, but the most annoying part was parking and valet service. I wish I knew what valet service costs and what the closest parking cost. I made a mistake and picked the closest parking and because I had to leave, that was not a good thing to do. Other than that it was great.

"I'm a believer in the quality of Hilton"
The Hilton in Boston's Back Bay provided the single best hotel experience that I've had. Located in a beautiful part of Boston with easy access to Harvard, M.I.T., Feway Park, shopping (both mall and boutique), music (Wally's Jazz club is a short walk), dining (too many to name and all of them close by), etc., etc. I'm a runner and every day I had a new path to follow which lead me through historical sites and beautiful neighborhoods along the St. Charles river. Last, but not least, the staff were professional yet kind and helpful and they made the stay even better. I can't wait to go back.

"Best night in Cambridge."
This was a fabulous vacation. Beautiful room, best breakfast imaginable, great front desk staff, conveniently located off the red line and MIT and I will stay there every time I fly to Boston. The hotel is a beautifully decorated historic building. We received a 25% off dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent. The two waitresses were extremely slow and very unprofessional. The food was worth the extreme bad service received by the two ladies waiting on the evening of November 23rd. The courtesy body lotion was made of some uncommon blend; however, I had a really bad reaction to it. I do not have allergies and can use any health & beauty product. But this lotion produced such an extreme reaction, I had to see a Dr, get a script and a shot and be miserable with itchy bumps and hive looking rash for two weeks.

"The staff seemed unconcerned about customer service."
I reserved a King Executive room but was given a small double bed room. The front desk staff where not apologetic for this error and seemed to be irritated that I wanted them to give me the room I reserved. I arrived at the hotel around 10pm and needed to eat. The bar was still serving food, so I went there to eat. When walked into the bar there was no bartender behind the bar and one person sitting at a corner table watching TV. After a few minutes that person got up and went behind the bar. I ordered a drink and he didn't have any glasses so he had to leave to get some. Over the next couple of days I ate at the restaurant several times. Every time, the service was extremely slow. Twice at breakfast I was give carafes of coffee that where almost empty and during one of the dinner meals the waitress never came around to give me a refill on my drink. For the most part, the food was good, except for the turkey club sandwich (dry cold turkey). I was very pleased with the cleanliness staff and the condition of my room. I would stay at this hotel again because cleanliness is more important to me than service and it is close to where I travel for business.

"Great location!"
I decided to check out this hotel as it has the best location to visit MIT as we were doing a campus tour for our son. I was surprised not only was it beside the school it had one of the best views of Boston along Charles. Plus had a subway station that made it easy to go to downtown.
