Bagborough House The house dates from about 1730, and was enlarged in the 1820s when the entrance was moved from the south side to this east side. Details at http://webapp1.somerset.gov.uk/her/details.asp?prn=40330 . Behind it is the C15 St. Pancras church, described at http://webapp1.somerset.gov.uk/her/details.asp?prn=40323 . Apart from the tower, "over-restored", says Pevsner (1958). Together they sit in an impressive landscaped park on the slopes of the Quantock Hills. Seen from Stout Lane.
Aisholt from the Quantock crest. From the Macmillan Way West as it runs beside a wood on the ridge top of the Quantocks between Wills Neck and Lydeard Hill. The tower of 103334 is beside Aisholt Wood.
Track off the Quantock Drove Road near Wills Neck. This point is on the Quantock ridge line about a half mile SE of Wills Neck. Note the ancient wall on the left with trees growing out of it. The practice of planting trees in walls is not uncommon in the area
