Extended family getaway
The property itself was excellent. It was a perfect set up for our 2 families plus our parents. All 3 groups were able to have our own bathroom close to our bedrooms. When the teenagers stayed up late at night in the basement game room, we could not hear them. It was a surprisingly clean, comfortable space in the basement.
The place was well stocked other than a lack of kitchen towels. There was only a single kitchen towel in the entire house that we could find. Since we were each supplied with a hand towel in addition to our wash cloth and bathroom towels, we were able to take a couple of the clean hand towels intended for the bathrooms and designate them for kitchen use and then we’re able to wash them through the week to keep us adequately supplied in the kitchen.
The washer and dryer worked well and there was an excellent convenient set up for us to all share use.
Good available space in the garage to safely store our bikes overnight.
Close enough to the bike path to comfortably ride back-and-forth from the house.
I don’t love the policy of only supplying starter rolls of items like paper towels and toilet paper, soap, dish soap and dishwasher soap. I don’t think it makes a ton of sense but I know other properties do this as well.
The cleaners were not done cleaning the house upon arrival. We had to wait 40 minutes after check-in time to get into the house.
I felt concerned when my two messages that I sent to the owner went unanswered both times, sent months apart. I did call the Vrbo property managers however and was able to get my answer to the second question.
I think some more clear direction about the beach passes would be helpful. We did get the beach sticker as recommended for the Wellfleet beaches. We did not understand however that the closest beach, Marconi beach, which is a public beach/park has its own pass. We could have gotten a weekly sticker with that beach/ park for $60 rather than paying the $100 for the private beaches. I do think that the private beaches were actually nicer as we did ride our bikes to Marconi Beach and we’re able to compare. I think more detailed instruction in the housing information provided would avoid confusion for us on that first day.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend this property. My criticism is constructive only for benefit of future renters. Thanks for a great week!

Fantastic Property!
This property was amazing for a long girls weekend. The house is beautiful, it was clean, and exactly as it looked in the pictures. The yard was amazing for yard games. Location was great - we were in and out of Truro and Provincetown very easily.
I did not decrease any stars for this, but there were a few small things that need attention. The hot coffee maker in the kitchen does not work (front button is missing), but was still on the counter, for example. This did not bother us at all though!
I am already looking into this property again for a long weekend with family - would highly recommend!

Beautiful and cozy retreat!
Our family needed a getaway for a week, and we loved being able to be together in this beautiful home. It was incredibly clean, there were plenty of towels and even some travel toiletries provided. The neighborhood was lovely and my husband was able to set up his work station in the beautiful loft overlooking the marsh.
The Sonos speakers and Smart TVs were a great touch as well.
We’d love to return!

Gorgeous house in Wellfleet
Our family of 5 stayed in this house to be close to my sister also renting in Wellfleet. Since it was during Covid, we had 3/5 of us working from the house. The internet along with the beautiful spots to "work from home" were perfection. The house is spacious with many areas to relax, have coffee, read a book, etc. The outdoor shower is incredible and well maintained.
My only issue with the entire stay was the house was the lack of supplies. The listing said there was going to be a starter set of supplies but there was no dishwashing liquid, dishwashing detergent ,or even one box of tissues. I read this in other reviews of the house but didn't expect it to be zero. There was a very empty salt shaker and no pepper. The closest supermarket is 20 minutes in each direction and as its COVID , I was reluctant to go.
I brought almost all of the supplies but people should know.. there is nothing to wipe the counter or clean the bathroom sink. There were no dishtowels. Bring everything you think you might need for the week and you will be fine!

Great place for a large group
The location in Wellfleet is very good. The property has many rooms to gather inside and several decks and a screened in porch for outside gathering. The home was clean. There was plenty of dishes, glasses and cutlery. I wish there was some spice basics like salt, pepper, sugar etc as well as enough dishwashing detergent , as opposed to leaving 3 little packets. Also, it was a little annoying have to wait until the day before the stay to see if we could get an earlier check-in or check out. However, we had a great time!

July Vacation
Great house in one of our favorite spots on the Cape. Other than a busted coffee pot the house was great. Very well appointed with lots of space.
