"The apartment was clean and very nicely decorated. Everything we needed in the kitchen and laundry in the apartment. I would have given 5 full stars but the neighborhood was less than desirable. So many homeless, boarded up windows and SIRENS! We felt safe as there is a gated area around the pool ..."

"My husband and really I enjoyed our weeklong stay here, away from the crowds of Honolulu and Waikiki. Some people said they thought the resort was crowded, but we didn't find that true for us (we went in June). It was definitely worth the hour+ drive to stay on the North Shore. We loved all the hiking trails on the property with many "hidden" beaches all to ourselves (and a couple of turtles). We made use of the free bicycles as well, and they also have horses for those who want to ride. Our room/bathroom were spacious and comfortable, and the food at Beach House by Roy Yamaguchi was especially delicious. We hope to make the trip again someday! "
