"I booked private villa with a private pool, beach side. Instead, I was put in villa right next to a big construction site. I was woken every day at 8:00 AM by clanging, banging and all the noises a construction site make. I wanted to enjoy peace in my private garden and listen to sound of ocean and nature, instead I got zero peace and heard only construction work, both near pool and near beach. At time of booking or arrival, there was no mention of construction work. Instead of destressing on vacation, I got super stressed. Asked for a new villa, was told they are fully booked until I leave. After contacting Expedia I was given a new villa for last day only. I asked hotel for compensation, but they have refused to take accountability for this situation, which I find incredible and not at the industry standard of a 5* resort. "

"We stayed in an over the water sunset villa, which was very comfortable, clean and had great facilities with fridge, wifi, coffee machine and a large bathroom with both shower and bath. It was kept spotless by Suranga who could not have been more helpful and who kept us entertained when we returned to the villa with his brilliant chalk drawings of all the different types of sea life in the Maldives.."

"Great villa with the best snorkeling just outside the door. Very good food, friendly and helpful staff. We had a wonderful time here, Iru Veli is truly a small piece of paradise!"

"The room was spotless and cleaned. All the staff are great and helpful. They always say hi and ask if you need anything. The amenities is limited but there are plenty of activities to do. Highly recommended the spa. All the restaurants are great except for the restaurant Limo. We sat down for drinks and ordered our meals. We waited almost two hours for our food while we watch other guests comes after and got their food before us. By the time we got our food, the pasta wasn't cooked well and some of the food didn't taste that well. We've ordered dessert as well and it took well over 30 minutes to an hour and we didn't get our dessert because we got tired of waiting plus we're exhausted. We were there at 8 pm and stayed there until 11pm. Best place to eat is Yama, Taste, and at the pool bar. Overall, it's a great experience. "

"Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre , villa plage , car la n153 n’avait pas de plage à marée haute . Il n’y a pas eu de problème. Ça a été fait assez rapidement . Chambre propre , mais pas digne d’un 5 étoiles car en profondeur il y a des choses pas nettes . Une petite rénovation serait envisageable . Néanmoins les villas plage sont bien entretenue, les toitures refaites. Beau lagon . Mais pas d’accès au tombant . Une sortie est organisée par jour , c’est peu ! Et elle dure que 35 mn… avec le trajet ils comptent 1 h. Restauration bonne . Laila a été parfaite , très souriante . Nous espérons revenir . "

"L'isola è situata su un pass oceanico verso l'atollo, questo facilita l'avvistamento di pesci anche di grossa dimensione, abbiamo visto più volte il passaggio di delfini. Abbiamo avvistato squali, acquilw di mare tartarughe pratucamente ad ogni uscita di snorkeling, davvero bellissimo. L'isola è molto rigogliosa e le camere sono sul mare ma immerse nel verde. Non è una struttura "di lusso" ed è proprio quello cbe volevamo, le camere sono semplici ma molto funzionali, pulite e con tutto il necessario tra cui un letto in cui si dorme serenamente in tre. Il cibo è ottimo, se amate i sapori orientali come me siete nel posto giusto. Siamo alle Maldive e per quanto mi riguarda si deve mangiare tipico e non italiano quindi per me è stato perfetto ma se cercate cibo italiano non è il posto per voi. Nessuna animazione, la sera potete scegliere tra ascoltare il rumore del mare dal vostro patio, prendere qualcosa da bere al bar o entrambe le cose. Per me l'ideale, le Maldive sono relax, se volessi ballare andrei ai Caraibi! In sintesi isola consigliatissima. Ps. Tutti consigliano le camere f Da 40 a 90, io vado controcorrente consigliandovi da 90 a 112 (io avevo la 112) perche davanti a queste c'è un'ottima spiaggia con possibilta anche di fare il bagno con una buona porzione di sabbia nelle altre zone il corallo è molto più vicino. Inoltre sono vicine all'uscita 7 di gran lunga la migliore per lo snorkeling! La mattina aquile di mare e al tramonto tartarughe assicurate."
