This was a GREAT option for Lassen Volcanic National Park. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The rooms were cozy with a nice mini-fridge and microwave. The restaurant across the street (same company) was excellent with some great sunset views from the large windows. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

This is probably the only place you can stay overnight at while visiting Larsen National Park. I visited the national park for one day on a October weekend, it was amazing how the park is still clean and open despite the government shutdown. The staff at the restaurant was super helpful with getting the EV charger going for my car. I got a bill shock when the bill came out to be even more expensive than what it would otherwise cost me to charge at a Tesla supercharger. The only downside to the room was there is no wifi inside the room and you have to walk out to the public restaurant and general store area before you can connect to the property's wifi. Wise I had known about that sooner.

We arrived late and fortunately the restaurant affiliated with the hotel but across the street was open. We had a great meal and fantastic service? Spent the next day at Lassen Volcanic Park which was very scenic and has some great hikes!

Very convenient for those spending time in Lassen National Park. Also a very nice place, with an especially gorgeous lodge and restaurant that had good food. The room was also very nice. Only drawback was that there was no wi-fi in the room, only in the lodge. I get that no one should be coming all the way out here and spending a bunch of time on the internet in their hotel room, but it would have been nice to have for an hour before going to sleep. Still, I'd highly recommend this place spending time in Lassen. It looked nicer than the places in Chester, which is the nearest town, and is probably 20 minutes closer to the park.

We wanted to be south of Lassen NP, so our options were limited. The charge for the property was overpriced for the amount of space one had. The linens were lovely. Pillows were good. The restaurant was a lovely place and staff were great, but they were short-handed and we didn’t get our food for an hour and fifteen minutes after we ordered and then it was cold!!

Great location but needs more care

We had trouble finding someone to give us our room key when we arrived at 8p. It wasnt in the lock box, as promised. We could find anywhere to buy a bottle of water, either at 8:30p after arrival, not in the morning until after 9a. The bathrooms are pretty cold and stark. The restaurant has a charming look, but the food was subpar. The experience didnt justify the price. Its purely a location play that doesnt suck.
