The room had a musty smell, lots of bugs, the room needs an update.My key didn’t work the first time. When I checked out the desk clerk didn’t speak to me. Probably the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Will find somewhere else to stay in the future. Area doesn’t feel safe.

Tired property

First room, the toilet would not work and the room had a terrible odor. The staff was extremely accommodating and moved us to another room. It was better but not great. First room was not updated, but had new climate control system. Second room had been updated, but it had the OLD outside A/C system which could not keep up and rendered the room uncomfortable. The front desk staff was pleasant but they are hamstrung with an old holidome-looking property that is neither updated nor particularly clean.

Didn't like cockroaches in the room, bath exhaust fan inoperable, lack of staff in breakfast area to provide water or coffee availability, lack of breakfast food options in comparison to other nearby hotel options with similar rates. I've stayed here a few times meeting relatives, who have the same opinions and have refused to stay here the past 3 years. Front counter staff were excellent. Som other staff may need to be terminated.

The room was not clean (bathroom) and when moved to a different floor it smelled horrible. Had them clean the bathroom and then moved back to original room . Still had to go ask for clean towels because they didn’t change them out and they were wet. Both rooms I rented had food left in refrigerators. Checked out a day early.

Missed the mark

Staff was friendly. Room was fine. No vent fan in bathroom. Shower head holder was not working properly. Had maintenance check it. Still was a problem. Asked for room cleaning after the second day…never came.

I’m afraid we can’t give this hotel a good rating, despite the obviously hard working people employed there. Non-working restrooms in lobby with actual feces and maggots in the bowls should not be something guests encounter, I don’t think. The door to our room was broken. The whole 4th floor reeked of weed. Breakfast was lacking, but that is personally forgivable. Open containers of milk and juice in mini fridge were a bit disconcerting. Beds were clean and employees were personable but we won’t stay there again. Too icky.

Our night was a little disappointing. Noticed an odd smell throughout the building and room. Had to ask for a second room after discovering that the door would not secure from the inside in the first. Got another room, no issues. Went to get a bite of breakfast around 8:30am. Pickings were VERY slim. Was a little surprised at the little to no fare. The whole facility looked tired and in need of a thorough facelift. We’ll look for a different venue in Stillwater next time.

Floor number 2. They didnt have keys for us, we had to call the front desk to have them open the door, which was fine for one stay. But there was a garbage disposal smell in the hallways of the 2nd floor, it penetraded the room, not allowing to go to sleep at night. I had to spray lysol to kill the smell. The following day the smell remained.

When we arrived at the property, I was told that they did not accept cash and I was shocked because it did not say this online with booking. The nighttime manager okayed a cash transaction, therefore letting us into our room. Once in our room, we settled in fine. However, the next morning there was hardly any breakfast 30 minutes after it started the pool was closed the entire time and I have attached a picture of our bathroom vent in which you can see has not been cleaned in what appears to be a very long time and looks as if it was growing something. To say the least, we will not stay at this hotel or one that belongs in its chain ever again.

Creepy

There were homeless wandering around the grounds. I asked if I could cancel my stay as I did not feel comfortable in this area and was told no. I left and found another, safer, less creepy hotel.
