So close to perfect.....
The good: Lots of common area space for family members to sit and chat, play board games and just be together. One of the best stocked rental kitchens we have ever had! There were even cutting boards and foil!
The not so great: The towels are skimpy. There were only a couple of towels in each bathroom, so when a family member popped in straight from work and needed a shower, the towels were still damp from the overnight family. It got really interesting when our grandson threw up....
There are NO extra blankets. No throws for cuddling on the couch, no blankets in the closets (and the bedrooms stayed COLD at all times) Fortunately, we had a family member who lived locally who brought us a stack of blankets!
There is NO microwave. That is really surprising, when you think of all the great restaurants around! Sure, there was a toaster oven, but none of the four who actually stayed there had ever used a toaster oven. Breakfast was interesting, since we had brought frozen breakfast burritos. Do you know how long it takes to make a frozen burrito in the oven? Longer than you want when you're really hungry!
The only TVs are in the basement rec room. That was a bummer because we had guys who wanted to watch one thing and ladies who wanted to watch something different. We ended up setting up a laptop in the upstairs living room.
Overall, a great place for families, provided you bring your own extra towels, blankets, microwave and TV or laptop.
